The Election Commission proposes to revise the electoral rolls of Kerala with January 1, 2011, as the eligibility date.
The draft electoral rolls will be published on November 4 and citizens can seek addition and corrections to the list up to November 21. It will also serve as an opportunity for people who have changed their residence to register at the new place of residence.
An official release issued here on Tuesday said that the draft rolls would be published on the website of the Chief Electoral Officer for Kerala, collectorates and taluk and villages offices and asked everyone to ensure that their names are present in the lists.
Booth level officers, deputed by the Commission, would assist citizens in filing applications for enrolment at polling booths of their locality on November 13, 14, 20 and 21 (Saturdays and Sundays).
