Conservation of sacred groves: aid sought

: The Forest and Wildlife Department has invited applications for financial aid for conservation of sacred groves in Thiruvananthapuram district for this fiscal. Aid will be available to sacred groves under the ownership of individuals, Devaswoms, and trusts. Applications, along with documents proving area and ownership of the groves, should be sent to the Deputy Forest Conservator, Social Forest Wing, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, by August 31. Those who have applied earlier will not be considered. – Staff Reporter
