CBI conducts raids in Thiruvanthapuram airport

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is conducting raids in Thiruvananthapuram international airport.

The raids that began early morning in the Customs wing are being carried out by a 14-member CBI team since Thursday morning, Airport sources said.

The CBI team had arrived in the airport in the wee hours of the day. The reasons for the raids are not known. The customs offices are mainly the international terminal and in the cargo complex of the Kerala State Industrial Enterprises (KSIE) situated outside the terminal building.
