Sukumari Pillai, teacher at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, receives the National award for Meritorious Teacher from President Pratibha Patil at a function in New Delhi on September 5.
Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Pattom, (shift-1) primary teacher Sukumari Pillai, who won the National Award for Meritorious Teachers 2010, received the award from President Pratibha Patil on September 5, Teachers Day, in New Delhi.
Ms. Pillai, who joined the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathon in 1977, has been working at Pattom since 1998.
