According to an official release, all vehicles heading for the domestic terminal of the airport from Chakka will be diverted via Enchakkal, Kallumoodu, Ponnara Bridge and Valiyathura.

Devotees heading for Shanghumughom to take part in the rituals have been advised to park their vehicles on the designated areas and to refrain from doing so on either side of the road. The drivers have also been asked to display their contact numbers on the parked vehicles.
