AI reduces fares

Air India has announced reduction in fares in several sectors on the domestic network.

As per the low fare bonanza, the fare in the Thiruvananthapuram- Chennai sector will be Rs.1,485 for those purchasing tickets seven days in advance compared to Rs.2,590 for a ticket on instant purchase.

The fare in the Thiruvananthapuram- Bangalore sector will be Rs.1,460 for those purchasing tickets seven days in advance compared to Rs.2,725 for instant purchase of ticket.

Air passes

The national carrier has also extended the platinum/silver air passes for unlimited domestic travel in any domestic sector of the airline up to September 15.

Those buying the platinum pass for Rs.50,000 can travel unlimited for 10 days in the business class and those with silver pass (Rs.30,000) can travel unlimited for 10 days in the economy class, a release quoting the station manager said.
