Inquiry sought
The Guruvayanakere-based Nagarika Seva Trust has urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to hold an inquiry into the denotification of 36.1 acres of land in Allalasandara in Bengaluru North taluk that had been purchased by the Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Education Society. The Comptroller and Auditor General of India had said that the government violated provisions of the Karnataka Land Acquisition Act while denotifying 637.32 acres, including 36.1 acres purchased by the society.
