Vikas chairman J. Krishna Palemar told presspersons here on Friday that the programme was aimed at inspiring confidence among students and to enhance their potential to think out of the box. The college has also organised a career guidance programme on August 27. Mr. Palemar said the competition was formulated to focus on three categories—best business model to incline students towards commerce; best innovation to ignite the spark for science and reasoning and aesthetically brilliant model to help students imagine different dimensions of arts.

Vikas College will offer a seed fund of Rs. 500 to each team, comprising three students while each school can send a maximum of five teams. Also, the winners of the competition would get a scholarship amount of Rs. 10,000 per category.
