Trains to Nagercoil partially hit

Train services between Mangalore Central and Nagercoil Junction would be affected between Thiruvananthapuram and Nagercoil on the first and second Fridays and Saturdays of March due to construction of subways in the section.

A release here said train services would have to be regulated between 11.15 p.m. and 7.15 a.m. on March 6, 7, 13 and 14 because of the work. As a result, services of the following trains would be modified as under.

Train Nos. 16605 Mangalore-Nagercoil Ernad Express and 16649 Mangalore-Nagercoil Parasuram Express, leaving Mangalore Central on March 6 and 13 would terminate at Thiruvananthapuram Central instead of Nagercoil.

Train Nos. 16606 Nagercoil-Mangalore Ernad Express and 16650 Nageroil-Mangalore Parasuram Express, leaving Nagercoil on March 7 and 14 would start from Thiruvananthapuram instead of Nagercoil.
