Sriramulu’s former partymen turn foes

April 12, 2014 12:39 pm | Updated May 21, 2016 10:46 am IST - BELLARY:

Jagadish, Nagaraj and Balkrishna, members of the BSR Congress, who unsuccessfully contested the last Assembly elections, along with a few other party workers, launched an anti-Sriramulu campaign in Bellary city on Friday.

They have been undertaking a door-to-door campaign, and distributing pamphlets appealing to the voters to reject Mr. Sriramulu. They have been telling the voters that Mr. Sriramulu ditched them by taking a unilateral decision to merge the BSR Congress with the BJP to pursue his personal motives.

Mr. Sriramulu is the BJP candidate contesting from Bellary parliamentary constituency in the Lok Sabha elections.

They have been telling the voters to vote in favour of any other candidate capable of protecting the land, natural resources and the interests of the people.

Mr. Nagaraj said the BSR Congress leaders would be touring the entire constituency in their endeavour to see that Mr. Sriramulu is defeated in this election.
