Indian Railways has sanctioned ticket quota for Ernakulam-Panvel-Pune bi-weekly train for Udupi. In a press release issued here, R.L. Dias, president of the Udupi Railway Yatri Sangha, said that passengers’ reservation system (PRS) had been sanctioned from March 16.
The quota allotted for train no. 22149 (Ernakulam-Panvel-Pune on Tuesdays and Fridays is: AC two-tier – 4; AC three-tier – 10, second class sleeper – 89. The quota for train no. 22150 (Pune-Panvel-Ernakulam on Thursdays and Mondays) is AC two-tier – 12; AC three-tier – 16; second class sleeper – 64, the release said.
