Vishwesha Tirtha Swami of Paryaya Pejawar Mutt accidentally slipped and suffered a minor injury to his shoulder at the Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple here on Wednesday.

According to the seer’s secretary, the 86-year-old Pejawar swamiji was walking to the sanctum sanctorum of the temple for performing puja after having a dip at the Madhwa Sarovar pond in the morning. Since some oil had fallen on the steps leading to the sanctum sanctorum , the seer slipped, fell and suffered a minor injury to his shoulder. A physician who later examined the injury administered an injection to the seer. Despite the fall, the seer continued with the pujas and met devotees. His normal routine was not affected. The seer did not postpone or cancel any of his activities at the Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple, the secretary said.
