Guidance values revised

The guidance value of the immovable property in the areas coming under the jurisdiction of Mulky Sub Registrar has been revised. The revised rates are available for the public viewing. Those having objections to the revised rates should submit their objections in the next 15 days, according to a press release.

Neuro Hospital started functioning here on Sunday and it has multiple neuro sub-specialities. The hospital has been built by city-based neurologist Rajesh Shetty and neurologist Sunil Shetty and Perth-based physician Shankar Shetty. Among the services available at the hospital include General Neurology, Neurosurgery, Advanced Neuro Imaging, Advanced neuro rehabilitation and Paediatric neurology.

Tele-serial completes century

Over hundred episodes of the tele serial related to Koti Channayya – the twin cultural folk heroes of Tulunadu – has been telecasted on the Doordarshan’s Chandana channel. The serial was being telecasted every Sunday between 9 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. The show on Sunday was 101th episode of the serial which has as many as 250 episodes.

‘Notify caste,

sub-caste as Golla’

The Dakshina Kannada District Golla (Yadava) Samaj Seva Sangha has asked people from the community to notify their caste and sub-caste as “Golla” during the ongoing social and economic survey conducted by the State government. The sangha has also asked them to mention their native occupation as “animal care” and mention they are nomadic tribe, according to a press release
