A 50-year-old man and his 20-year-old son were killed after their motorcycle collided with a sand-laden lorry near Benaka Hospital in Ujire on Monday.
According to Beltangady police, Anand , a painter, and his son Dinesh were going to Belthangady. Anand was driving the motorcycle with Dinesh as pillion. The lorry reportedly collided with the motorcycle and they fell on the road.
Dinesh died on the spot while Anand died while being taken to a hospital. the lorry dragged the two-wheeler down a few metres.
