Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa said on Saturday that the law would take its course in Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik's case.
He was responding to presspersons who met him on his arrival at the Bajpe airport for the inauguration of the new integrated terminal building there.
Mr. Yeddyurappa said that the Government would not interfere in the matter. There have been demands for a ban on the sene and action against Mr. Muthalik after the “rent a riot” sting operation was telecast by a couple of television channels.
To a question, he said the Cabinet expansion would be considered only after the forthcoming Global Investors' Meet, scheduled to be held at Bangalore on June 3. He said there was no dissidence in the party.
Later, Mr. Yeddyurappa paid a brief visit to the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) on the city corporation premises before leaving for Kenjar.
HRDC
The HRDC in Mangalore was set up as a pilot project by the Department of Employment and Training and the Karnataka Vocational Training and Skill Development Corporation in October 2009. It has so far received 5,662 registrations, assessed 5,197 job-seekers based on their skills, and placed 858 persons.
Of the 858 persons placed in various jobs by the HRDC, 50.6 per cent were employed locally.
