Kingfisher changes check-in time

July 21, 2010 05:28 pm | Updated 05:28 pm IST - Bangalore:

With effect from midnight of Tuesday, the check-in counters for all domestic flights of Kingfisher Airlines departing from the six cities, including Bangalore, will close 40 minutes before the departure time. This means that the check-in counters of Kingfisher Airlines at Bengaluru International Airport will close 10 minutes earlier than the present closure time.

Also, the boarding gates for domestic flights departing from all these six airports will close 15 minutes before the time of departure.

Reason

These changes will come into force at the airports in Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai.

These changes have been made to minimise operational disruptions/passenger inconvenience while ensuring compliance with the directions and procedures specified in Air Transport Circular 10 of 2009 issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, according to a press release issued by the airline here.
