HDMC to focus on increasing internal resources

To convene a special council meeting on Nov. 11

Understanding the need for focussing on increasing the internal resources of the municipal corporation, the HDMC council has decided to hold a special council meeting to deliberate on the issue.

After a heated discussion on the issue after Congress councillor Ganesh Tagargunti moved a calling attention motion on the subject, HDMC (Hubli Dharwad Municipal Corporation) Mayor Shivu Hiremath announced that a special council meeting would be convened on November 11 to chalk out plans for resource mobilisation.

The mayor asked the officials of revenue, health and town planning department to come out with specific plans pertaining to their respective departments on increasing the internal resources.
