Free training for unemployed youth

The Rural Development and Self-Employment Training (RUDSET) Institute will conduct free training camps in July for unemployed youth on its premises at Brahmavar near Udupi .

In a press release here, the institute's director stated that training camps would be held in computer and DTP skills (45 days, separately for men and women), repair of household electrical gadgets (30 days), mobile phone repair (30 days), computer tally (30 days), photography and video recording (21 days), repair of television sets and DVDs and electronic equipment (30 days), repair of two-wheelers (30 days), computer hardware and networking (45 days), and repair of air-conditioners and refrigerators (30 days).

Unemployed youth in the age group of 18 to 45 from Shimoga, Uttara Kannada and Udupi districts, who can read and write Kannada, can apply for these camps. Applications should reach the Director, RUDSET Institute, 52, Heroor, Brahmavar 576 213 before June 15. For details, call 0820-2563455.
