Five events were held on the second day of the four-day Mahesh Pre University College Golden Shuttle Cup 2016, which is an open south zone tournament on Friday. The tournament is being held at U. S. Mallya Indoor Stadium, Lalbagh.

Gowri Bhat (GSA) defeated Nivetha A (GSA) 21/4 21/2 in the U-10 Girls Singles Finals Anshul (GSA) and Prashasth (Udupi) defeated Vijesh (Karkala) and Aarush (Karkala) 21/5 21/17 in the U-10 Boys Doubles Finals. Varsha Bhat (GSA) defeated Glancia Pinto (Udupi) 21/13 21/18 in the U-17 Girls Singles finals
Varsha Bhat (GSA) defeated Glancia Pinto (Udupi) 18/21 21/15 21/15 in the U-19 Girls Singles finals.
