DYFI protests against lack of development works

Some residents of the Panjimogaru ward protested in front of the Mangalore City Corporation here on Monday alleging that no development works were being carried out in their ward.

They protested under the banner of the Democratic Youth Federation of India. District Secretary of the DYFI Dayanand Shetty said that their councillor was “neglecting” the ward. He said that the residents had complained to the Deputy Commissioner in this regard last march, but that they had not heard anything since.
