Vishwesha Tirtha Swami of Paryaya Pejawar Mutt said on Friday that the Dharma Sansad, to be held here from November 24 to 26, would take important decisions on the construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya and other issues.

He was speaking at the Chapra Muhurta for the construction of the stage and other venue-related matters for the Dharma Sansad being organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) at the Royal Gardens, here.

The Pejawar seer said that the Dharma Sansad should create a new Hindu wave in the State and country. It would try to find a solution to the problems in the Hindu community. Sadhus and sants from different parts of the country would participate in the Dharma Sansad, he said and expressed his satisfaction with the preparations for the event.

Muktananda Swami of Karinje Mutt said that the Dharma Sansad would give a fitting reply to the irregularities alleged to be taking place in mutts and temples. The members of Sangh Parivar were needlessly being called as terrorists.

The government, which was in a responsible position, was hatching a systematic conspiracy for suppressing the Hindus. “It is the responsibility of all Hindus to change this government,” he said.

It was essential that sants, organisations and society to join together to see that the Hindu religion reached stellar heights. The main aim of the Dharma Sansad was to set an agenda for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, a complete ban on cow slaughter and for the Hindu organisations to operate fearlessly.

“The country should remove Tiger as its national animal and instead make the cow as the national animal. By doing so, we should to see to it that ‘Go-Mathe’ (mother cow) becomes ‘Vishwa Mathe’ (goddess of the world),” Muktananda Swami said.

M.B. Puranik, VHP leader, said that an exhibition which explains Hindu culture and glory would be put up at the Royal Gardens during the Dharma Sansad.

P. Vilas Nayak, president of the district unit of the VHP, and others were present.
