Vishnu Agarwal, Director (Finance), Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd., was adjudged the winner of the ‘BT-Star Excellence Award’ in the category of PSU-Small, Director-Finance of the Year. The selection was done after a rigorous evaluation process by the jury of the BT-Star Excellence Awards-2015.
Mr. Agarwal took over as the Director (Finance) of MRPL in April 2011. The award is in recognition of his consistent performance and contribution in building a robust Indian economy through the PSU he serves in, said an official release from MRPL.
He was associated with MRPL as Group General Manager (Finance) from June 2010, in addition to assignments he held at ONGC. Mr. Agarwal is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has over 30 years of functional experience in the field.
