Air India would be sending a team of lawyers and officials to Mangalore to facilitate the compensation claims filed by families of victims of last week’s air crash.

“We are sending a team to take care of compensation claims filed by the families of the air crash victims,” an Air India spokesperson told PTI here on Thursday.

The national carrier has already announced an interim compensation to the kith and kin of the deceased.

Air India’s Express flight from Dubai crashed on Saturday last killing 158 persons.
