A two-day classical dance festival, Samarpan, hosted by Nrityaangan, Mangaluru, will be conducted at the Don Bosco Hall here from Saturday.
Ashish Mohan Khokar, dance historian and critic, would inaugurate it.
Established and budding artistes would perform in the festival, a press release here said.
Some of them are Dakshina Vaidyanathan from Delhi and Kavya Mahesh from Mangaluru (Bharatanatyam), Purvadhanashree from Hyderabad (Vilasini Natyam), who would perform on Saturday, and Sweekruth B.P. from Bengaluru (Kathak), Shweta Prachande from Chennai and Ramya Rao from Mangaluru (Bharatanatyam) who would perform on Sunday.
There would be a special talk on “A century in Indian dance” by Mr. Khokar at 11 a.m. on Sunday at Sanathan Natyalya, Ballalbagh.
