Kannada actor Ramesh Aravind on Tuesday launched a 3G video calling ISD booth on the premises of My Idea office on Bejai-Kapikad Road here.

To be charged in India at the rate of 2 paisa per second, the customers who call destinations such as West Asia will have to pay this charge in addition to the regular telephone charges for the respective countries.

Mr. Aravind said 3G services had been used in his latest comedy flick Nammanna Don which highlighted the need for universal healthcare. The film would be released on February 10. Mona Parvarish, who has acted in the film, made a 3G video call to Mr. Ramesh to mark the launch.
