Workshop for judicial officers

V. Balasundara Kumar, District Judge, on Sunday inaugurated a one-day decentralisation workshop for judicial officers of the district here.

It was organised by the Tamil Nadu State Judicial Academy and the District Court. Judicial Magistrates, Sub ordinate Judges and others took part.

Court sources said that the objective of the workshop was to keep the judicial officers in pace with the emerging legal, social and technological trend.

Moreover, induction training was given to the new recruits.

Junior judicial officers were oriented on their duties and responsibilities. Mr. Balasundara Kumar said that the judicial officers should maintain the dignity of the institution.

He said that they should avail the workshop to enrich and update their knowledge to have better career.
