Office-bearers elected

Advocates M. Subash Babu and M. Veilkani Raju have been elected the new president and general secretary of Madurai Bench of Madras High Court Bar Association (MMBA), while S. Srinivasa Raghavan has been elected its vice-president for second consecutive term.

According to a press communiqué issued by the association here on Monday, lawyers N. Ilango, S. Shaji Bino, T.J. Ebenezer Charles and S. Poornachandran were elected and instituted treasurer, librarian, joint secretary and convenor respectively.

The new executive committee members of MMBA are: M.S. Jeya Karthik, K. Prabhu, K. Sathish Kumar, C. Murugavel, V. Malaiyendran, S. Venkatesh, K. Maharajan and M. Ganesan.
