The Hindu Young World Quiz on Monday

The 18th edition of the annual ‘ The Hindu Young World Quiz’ will be held at Thiagarajar College here on January 22.

The competition will be conducted under two categories — juniors and seniors. Students from classes four to six can participate in the juniors category that, scheduled at 10 a.m., and those from classes seven to nine can participate in the seniors category, scheduled at 2 p.m.

Students will be allowed to participate as two-member teams. Any number of teams can participate from a school. However, only one team per school will be allowed among the final six teams that will participate at the on-stage finals in each category.

Participating teams will be charged a registration fee of ₹200. Online registration for the event can be done at https://www.thehindu.com/ywquiz . Spot registration can also be done one hour before the event.

While exciting prizes await the winners, all the participants will also receive certificates. Audience will be eligible for prizes for every right answer to the questions directed at them.

The event is powered by Eveready Industries India Limited. Arrow Publications is the knowledge partner, Thiagarajar College is the venue partner, Hi-tech Arai Pvt Ltd and HDFC Home Loans are the regional partners, and Prema Vilas Sweets and Pally Kitchen are the snack partners for the event.
