Line work: Changes in train services

Work for commissioning of double line between Vridhachalam and Mathur

Southern Railway has made the following changes in train services due to line block/power block pre-disconnection and disconnection and post- disconnection work for commissioning of double line between Vridhachalam and Mathur.

Partially cancelled

Train No. 56706 Madurai- Villupuram and Train No. 56705 Villupuram- Madurai passenger trains would be partially cancelled between Ariyalur and Villupuram on March 26, 27 and 28.

Rescheduled

Train No. 16352 Nagercoil- Mumbai CST bi-weekly express, scheduled to leave Nagercoil at 5 a.m. on March 23, will leave Nagercoil at 6 a.m.

Train No. 16352 Nagercoil- Mumbai CST bi-weekly express, scheduled to leave Nagercoil at 5.00 a.m. on March 26, will leave Nagercoil at 6.15 a.m.

Train No. 12605 Chennai Egmore- Karaikkudi Pallavan express, scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 3.45 p.m. on March 28, will leave Chennai Egmore at 4.45 p.m.

Diverted (via Main Line)

Train No. 16127/16129 Chennai Egmore- Guruvayur/ Tuticorin link express will be diverted through Villupuram, Mayiladuturai and Tiruchi on March 26, 27 and 28.

Train No. 12636 Madurai- Chennai Egmore Vaigai express will be diverted to run via Tiruchi , Mayiladuturai and Villupuram on March 28.

Train No. 16128/16130 Guruvayur /Tuticorin- Chennai Egmore express will be diverted through Tiruchi, Mayiladuturai and Villupuram on March 28.

Train No. 12635 Chennai Egmore- Madurai Vaigai express will be diverted to run via. Villupuram, Mayiladuturai and Tiruchi on March 28.
