Chief Judicial Magistrate Chinna Raj on Friday passed an injunction order against former Tourism Minister N.Suresh Rajan restraining him from selling or mortgaging his properties worth Rs.14 crore until the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption wing cleared the cases filed against him.

The CJM passed the order after the DVAC moved the court seeking to direct Mr.Rajan not to sell or mortgage his properties.The DVAC conducted raids nine times on the house of the former Minister at Vellalar Colony and the houses of his relatives in various parts of the district for allegedly having amazed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
