Fog in Delhi delays flight in Madurai

The SpiceJet flight, scheduled to take off from Madurai at 6.40 p.m., left for Mumbai via Chennai at 8.30 p.m.

The arrival and departure of SpiceJet’s New Delhi-Madurai-Mumbai flight was delayed by more than one and a half hours at Madurai on Sunday due to heavy fog at Delhi airport.

The SpiceJet flight SG-296 from Delhi, which was scheduled to arrive at Madurai at 6.10 p.m. landed at 7.54 p.m. The SpiceJet staff said all the 176 passengers of the flight were informed about the delay. The flight, scheduled to take off from Madurai at 6.40 p.m., left for Mumbai via Chennai at 8.30 p.m.
