Fourth day

But they continued their fast for the fourth day at the Government Rajaji Hospital where they were forcibly admitted, said K. Anand, father of the law student, A. Nandhini, who initiated the fast on Monday.

Two other students, Joe Britto and A. Manikandan of Loyola College, Chennai, had left for Chennai to continue their protest, he added.

Besides Nandhini, the police detained S. Vijikumar, Vinod Kumar, Maranadu Karuppasamy, and Yuvarajan.
