EduFest’12: stage set for two-day event for teachers

EduFest’12, a two-day knowledge sharing event for the teachers to keep abreast of latest teaching practices, is being organised in Madurai on October 5 and 6 by Sri Aurobindo Mira Group of Educational Institutions.

The first day sessions will be held at Queen Mira International School in Kochadai on October 5 where paper presentations and working model on catering multiple intelligences inside the classroom would be deliberated.

K. Muthuchelian, Vice-Chancellor of Periyar University, Salem, will inaugurate EduFest’12 at Sri Aurobindo Mira School in the city. M. V. Muthuramalingam, chairman, Velammal Educational Trust, will participate in the inaugural function.

C. Chandran, chairman, Sri Aurobindo Mira Group of Educational Institutions, in a press release on Saturday, said that experts from various schools have been invited to share their experiences. Among those who would address the teachers and students are Kalyani Mathivanan, Vice-Chancellor, Madurai Kamaraj University, Premalatha Panneerselvam, Senior Principal, Mahatma Group of Schools, Raja Govindasamy, soft skill trainer and Dheep, psychiatrist.
