Chief Minister to participate in youth festival

It will feature cultural programmes, employment camp

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami will participate in a youth festival, organised by Puratchi Thalaivi Amma Peravai, here on Friday.

The function is being organised to commemorate the birth centenary of late Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran and the 69th birth anniversary of late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, a statement issued by the Peravai said.

Around 25,000 sportspersons would receive sporting equipment and other benefits from the Chief Minister.

The youth festival would feature cultural programmes, competitions and an employment camp from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m.

The Chief Minister would also join with the youngsters for lunch.

Senior Ministers, MLAs and party functionaries would participate in the function, the statement said.
