The twentieth triennial convention of the Xavier board at the Rajagiri College of Social Sciences concluded here on Sunday.
The valedictory session was presided over by Mr. Darly Koshy, Director, National Institute of Design . Mr. V. A. George, vice-chairman, Xavier Board of Higher Education, Fr. Joseph Xavier, president, Xavier Board of Higher Education, Fr. Joseph Puthenpura, Secretary , Xavier Board of Higher Education and Dr. Joseph Injodey, Principal, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences were also present.
Mr. Darly Koshy, in his valedictory address stressed that as the country moves from an era of information into an era of innovation, education will be facing major dimensional changes. The elections of Xavier Board were conducted during the business session.
Prof.Varghese Vazhappilly was elected as the president, Dr. Dorez D Souza as the vice-president and Fr. S.A .Dhanapal SJ was selected as the secretary.
