Winners of video film fete

Kamakshi directed by Satinder and Sanju Surendran’s Kapila have won the best film in the short fiction and documentary categories at the SiGNS digital video and short fiction film festival that concluded here on Sunday.

Njan Ninnodu Koodeyundu directed by Priyanandan won the John Abraham award for best Malayalam feature film while Sanal Kumar Sasidharan bagged the special jury award for excellence in direction for his Oralpokkam .

N.K. Muhammed Koya’s Alif won special mention from the jury of John Abraham award. Sachin Sasi’s Magic Print and Phum Shang by Haobam Paban Kumar won the cinema experimenta and cinema of resistance awards respectively. — Special Correspondent
