Two more arrested in online sex racket case

The police team probing an online sex racket case in the city has arrested two more persons in connection with the case. The arrested have been identified as Noorulla Moinudheen, 36, of Delhi and Rajesh V.S. of Karikkamuri in Kochi. Noorulla used to work as a middleman and lured clients, the police said.

The police, during a raid at a lodge near Pulleppady on Friday last, arrested the kingpin of the racket, besides five women, four transgender persons, three customers and the lodge manager. According to the police, the racket was being run with the support of the lodge manager.

Rajesh, a taxi driver and aide of the lodge manager, was remanded to judicial custody, officials said.
