Two persons were killed in two accidents in Kochi on Thursday.
In the first accident, Mithun K J, 25, a native of Thrissur, died after the car in which he was travelling overturned at Padivattom on NH 47 bypass.
According to the police, the mishap occurred at around 1.45 a.m. on Thursday.
Mithun was rushed to a nearby hospital along with three other co-passengers but was declared brought dead.
In the second case, Rajagopalan (40) of Kakkanad NGO quarters, died after a car rammed into the scooter he was riding. His wife who was riding pillion sustained injuries. The victim was thrown off the scooter and sustained severe injuries.
The accident occurred at 5.45 a.m.
