Three members of the Kalamassery Municipal Council have resigned from the posts of standing committee chairpersons.
Rukiya Jamaal, chairperson, standing committee for development; Zulfat Ismail, chairperson, standing committee for health; and Shajahan Kadapalli, chairman, standing committee for welfare, submitted their resignations from their posts to the Municipal Secretary.
The resignations were allegedly due to certain political developments.
