Excise sleuths seize synthetic drugs from them

Excise sleuths arrested three youths on charge of drug peddling and seized synthetic drugs from them. The arrested are Surekh, 24, Govind Venugopal, 21, both natives of Thripunithura, and Vighnesh, 25, of Maradu.

During the examination, the sleuths allegedly seized 140 mg of LSD stamps and 2.74 mg of MDMA from their possession. The trio used to allegedly traffic the drugs from Goa and Bengaluru and retail them to party-goers in Kochi at a much higher price. They were produced before a magistrate and were remanded in custody.
