S.S.L.C. exams commence on Monday

As many as 24,398 students will appear for the year’s Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations in the district which will commence on Monday (March 14).

Of the total number of students appearing for the examinations, 12,144 are girls and 12,254 boys. The Kottayam educational district will have the most numbers of girls (5014) and boys (5200) as candidates for the examinations.

The Kottayam educational district will witness the most number of students appearing for the examinations – 10,214. As many as 5,926 students will appear from the Kanjirappally educational district. The other educational districts, Pala and Kaduthuruthy will have 4,093 and 4,149 students appearing for the examinations, respectively.

According to Education Department officials, all arrangements are in place for the smooth conduct of the examinations.
