Railways will operate superfast special trains between Chennai Central and Ernakulam Junction on July 1. An official release said Train No.06005 Chennai Central – Ernakulam Junction will leave Chennai Central at 22.30 hrs on July 1 and reach Ernakulam Junction at 10.45 hrs the next day. Train No.06006 Ernakulam Junction – Chennai Central superfast special train will leave Ernakulam Junction at 19.00 hrs on July 3 and reach Chennai Central at 07.15 hrs the next day.
AAP condemns arrest
The Aam Aadmi Party has condemned the arrest of two Dalit women in Kannur. Party State convener C. R. Neelakantan said in a release on Tuesday that the Left Democratic Front government was voted to power not to carry out ‘cell rule’, but to implement good governance.
SFI boycotts classes
Students affiliated to the Students’ Federation of India boycotted classes at the Government Law College here on Tuesday in protest against the alleged denial of recognition to the five-year integrated B.A. Criminology course. The course, which was started in 2011, has not yet received recognition from the Bar Council, said representatives of the organisation in a release.
