The petition, filed by social activist Jomon Puthenpurakkal, names the CBI Superintendent in Ernakulam, Ernakulam District Collector, Chief Engineer and an Executive Engineer of the PWD Buildings Division as the respondents in the case.
Two rooms
The petition states that the CBI Superintendent and his officers had occupied two rooms (No. 19 and No. 20) in the rest house from September 16, 1999 to October 18, 2007 without paying any rent or any valid order exempting them from paying the rent.
