The de-siliting of the drains in the city should be completed before the onset of monsoon for averting flooding in the city, the Kerala Merchants' Union has demanded.
The union congratulated the civic authorities for the timely repairing of roads in the business centres considering the plea of the traders. The remaining city roads should also be repaired without delay, said a statement issued by V.M. Siddique, general secretary of the Union.
