The Personal Assistant of the Kochi Corporation secretary or the Head of the Departments Concerned will address all the grievances registered through this online system in a time-bound manner and responses will be sent to the complainant.

The general public can register their complaints regarding the death, birth and marriage certificates, trade licences and sanitation issues. Complaints regarding property, professional and entertainment taxes can also be filed. The local body officials said the complaints registered through the online system are attended to and addressed using the local body’s own software, Cochin Municipal Administrative System.

The local body has highlighted its attempt to provide free Wifi access for 10 minutes to its residents as part of its preparedness for implementing smart solutions. The local body claimed to have made 18.69 per cent success in the number of sanitary latrines built under the Swachh Bharat Mission. It was earlier estimated that there were 1845 households without sanitary toilets.
