The actor who was noted for her performances in films like How Old Are You? and Njaan , thanked the authorities who made this possible.
The programme opened with Sangeetha’s rendition of Janaki Jaane , followed by Sowmya’s Anuragalola Rathri from the 1988 film Dhwani . The singers were classmates at St Teresa’s College here and have been singing playback for a few years. Sowmya said that since she herself had a medical problem with her back, she felt particularly happy that her talent could bring happiness to those who are ailing.
