Man’s body found in sack

The body of an unidentified man was found in a sack dumped in the Kochi backwaters near Nettoor on Wednesday. According to the police, the body was found floating in the water by locals near Nettor. Preliminary investigations revealed that the man, who is yet to be identified, was aged around 40 years.

The sack was tied firmly, while the mouth of the body was found sealed with adhesive cello tapes. The body has been sent for post mortem to the Government Medical College at Kalamassery.

A case of unnatural death has been registered.
