Loan applications of 57 panchayats in the district under the EMS Housing Scheme have been approved by the State government, said C.O. Paulose, Project Director, Poverty Alleviation Unit.
Government guarantee has been assured for the bank loans of these panchayats, he said at a meeting chaired by district panchayat president P.S. Shyla. Grama panchayats which were yet to submit projects were asked to do so without further delay.
