KUWJ leaders meet Kodiyeri

Representatives of the Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) met CPI(M) State secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan demanding the intervention of the State government to resume media coverage of judicial proceedings in courts.

The KUWJ delegation consisted of its president P.A. Abdul Gafoor, vice president R. Gopakumar, general secretary C. Narayanan, Ernakulam district president K. Ravikumar and State committee member D. Dileep. Mr. Balakrishnan suggested that an atmosphere conducive for reporting judicial proceedings should be restored.
