The State committee members of Kerala Congress (Jacob) will observe a fast from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the High Court Junction here to highlight the Mullaperiyar issue. A press release issued by the party said the party was demanding construction of a new dam.
The party chairman Johny Nelloor will inaugurate the fast. Anoop Jacob, the UDF candidate-designate for the Piravom Assembly byelection, will address the gathering.
